The Audience Guide to Bees.Social

Your very own live-streamed crowd-voting version of “Shark Tank” and “American Idol” where you can win.

If you want to allocate your Seedz capital to a potential cryptocurrency project on Bees.Social, this is for you. If you want to be one of those projects, make your way over to Bees.Social and fill out an application there.

Now that we know this is where you want to be — let's get down to business.

If you don’t know what a “cryptocurrency project” is here is one author’s definition of it. A cryptocurrency project (we’ll call it “Project” from now on) is an organization (for-profit or non-profit) that will use the tokens it has yielded (or minted already) to grow its already operating endeavors.

Note the use of “already operating endeavors.” That phrase was laid in there on purpose. This is not a place where Projects come to “find themselves,” this is a place where operating projects — that don’t need startup support — come to accelerate their growth.

The Projects come to Bees.Social because it's a “crowd” of early adopters who — if they gain an affinity for the Project — will not only vote for them and allocate Seedz to them, they will become early adopters and fans of that Project and serve as an army of unofficial brand ambassadors.

In order for a Project to be worthy of all of that attention and focus, it needs to have been up and running for a while and warrant the attention of the Bees.Social “crowd.”

This — however, is the audience guide — so let’s explain the process. The first step will be the Video Review.

A candidate project will produce a 15-minute video overview of their project. In that video, they will explain their Project, its audience, its operation, its approach, and their view of their potential.

At the end of the video, a voting QR code will be displayed for audience review. Using the Opes.ID application the crowd will scan the code as a vote for the Project.

If the Project gains at least 100,000 votes after the video review it will qualify for the next stage in the process, live inquiry — a-la “Shark Tank” — from the community on a YouTube live broadcast. The event — which will take place one or twice a quarter is called, “The Whale Tank.”

The Whale Tank is named as such because — in this world of the super-rich and well-capitalized — this is the only place where because of participation in basic capital growth by virtue of liquidity pools, the “crowd” shows up as “whales” — a common term for very wealthy cryptocurrency players.

During the Whale Tank episode, the crowd will pose questions to the Project via the host and chat about the Project — to gain further insight into the Project.

The Crowd will decide — using the online OPES application, whether they want to stake their SEEDZ into the Project’s pool.

Not only will the audience (“the Crowd”) decide whether they will allocate Seedz to the Project — they will also decide how many Seedz they are willing to allocate to the project — as there will be more than one Project on The Whale Tank.

The Project that makes it through the Whale Tank will proceed into the Seedz.Social accelerator in which they will be coached, positioned, and promoted to the members of the Crowd — even those who did not participate in the Whale Tank.

As Projects emerge from the Whale Tank, those who have staked Seedz to these Projects will begin yielding the token (or “coin”) from the projects’ smart contracts. In plain English, this means that anyone who staked their Seedz in a Project will begin yielding coins that they can exchange for value on a DeFi exchange (“Dex”).

Many thanks to Joe Grabert who (again) kept me honest on this content.
